EMC
B&Q
Overview
I was involved with B&Q’s site redesign from the concept phase right through to production. We delivered a responsive website that achieved the dual aims of selling B&Q’s DIY products and also appealing to non-DIY customers base, by focusing on the new areas of lifestyle and inspiration. I was one of four Snr UX designers on the project.
During my time at B&Q I produced the site’s IA and navigation. I also defined the UX for the homepage, product page & checkout. I delivered these pages as annotated technical Omnigraffle wireframes. I also produced clickable Axure prototypes for the regular usability testing sessions with customers.
