Which?

Trusted trader

Overview

People are turning to sites like Check-a-trade and My Builder to find peer reviewed tradesmen in their area. In this crowded market, Trusted Trader’s unique selling point was that all the tradesmen listed have been vetted and are Which approved. The site also offers consumer advice and DIY guides on tackling small jobs. I was the lead UX on Trusted trader managing a Snr designer.

Both the user and tradesmen were interviewed during the concept phase helping us identify their needs. I also ran workshops to help the business define their requirements for Trusted trader. I produced an experience map, user journeys and personas during this phase.

The annotated wireframes I produced covered the journeys of a user searching and contacting a tradesman. To a tradesmen signing up and building their profile. I produced Axure prototypes for the fortnightly usability testing session.
